O lançamento de Tu Amor celebrou a reexibição do tributo feito por Anahí, Maite Perroni, Christian Chávez e Christopher Uckermann à trajetória do RBD pela Televisa, realizada no dia 28 de março

A música foi lançada originalmente em 2006 como parte da tracklist do álbum Rebels. A canção foi escrita por Diane Warren, autora de Io Sì, a música de Laura Pausini indicada ao Oscar de Melhor Canção Original em 2021.
